Software We Love

Following is a list of the software programs we are currently using in Kindergarten. Each K-kid is on a computer or iPad several times a week. We love being tech-y kids!

Storia is one of the apps on our classroom iPads. It has books on it that I have purchased from Scholastic for your kids to read or listen too.  It also includes activities in the stories and additional information is included with the non fiction selections. We are all excited about this new addition to our iPads.

Epic is a reading site we use for reading stories. It has hundreds of books available. Many of the books are available in our snuggle library which make it fun to read on our iPads and then get our hands on the actual book. Some have audio capabilities while others are read to self.

iPad math

Some iPad apps we use for math in Kindergarten are Go Math, IXL, bugs k math, number magic 2, counting123, numbers, squeeze, writing wizard, just numbers, dtdnumlelite, counting, matching, butterfly math, number flash, magic matrix, slate math, dots for tots, animal count, abc mouse kindergarten math, and splash math.  Look up some of these apps at the app store for you iPad or possibly phone. They are good ones. If the titles don't work let me know and I'll see if I can give you more info.
